Malcolm is a Chartered Accountant and Accredited Tax Professional with over two decades of professional experience in Audit, Tax and Business Advisory.
He is a member of several esteemed professional bodies, including:
- Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA)
- CPA Australia
- Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
He also holds the designation of Accredited Tax Professional (ATP) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals Limited.
Background and Experience
A graduate of the University of Sydney (B.Com) and University of Technology, Sydney (MBA), Malcolm began his career with a Big Four accounting firm, where he gained extensive experience auditing companies across diverse industries of energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, industrial products, natural resources, technology and shipping.
His portfolio includes multinational corporations and high-growth businesses operating under US GAAP and SOX compliance frameworks, giving him a deep understanding of international accounting standards and cross-border operations.
Malcolm is the Lead Independent Director of a Singapore public listed company.
Professional Involvement
Beyond work with his clients, Malcolm actively contributes to the accounting profession. He serves on various committees within CPA Australia and was a member of ACRA’s Complaints and Disciplinary Panel, where he helps uphold the integrity and standards of the accounting industry in Singapore.
Today, he leads MHSG with a focus on delivering trusted and efficient accounting solutions to clients in Singapore and beyond.
